To provide a support environment and communication tool between Ubicom customers and technical staff

We created a portal environment in which the content is completely administrated using online tools (which we also created). Within this secured system, there are multiple levels of customer, staff and administrative users. This portal serves as the primary point of contact between Ubicom staff and the developers, worldwide, who use Ubicom products. For the end user, the three main content areas are the discussion forums, documents and downloads, and trouble ticket correspondence. Staff members participate in discussion forums and answer or escalate trouble tickets. Administrators manage all elements of the portal, from customer accounts to downloadable files. Numerous reporting tools are available to administrators, for information ranging from number of users to the average time a trouble ticket remains open in the system.
