Create a series of animation reels for use at an international awards event.

Key consortium members, including executives and upper-level personal from Fortune 500 companies within the high-tech industry

The event presentations consisted of two discrete elements — a lengthy self-running photo reel and a series of awards animation sequences. Both pieces used a Director-based control interface for seamless implementation at the event. We designed the photo reel to highlighting events and members throughout the organization's history. The reel ran as a background piece during the pre-awards segments of the evening, and was set to music. The awards animations were created for use during the presentation of individual awards — the focus of the event. We developed concepts, storyboards, and an individual Flash file for each award. Each award sequence included a custom introductory animation of the Open Cannes cartoon character.
