Create a set of Flash-based invitations for the Cisco Partner Summit 2002 events.

We first created a storyboard of an animation sequence that delivered key messaging and event information. The imagery, layout and animation techniques used passed through a rigid corporate standards review for adherance to newly-defined Cisco branding guidelines. We created several Flash-based variations on the invitation theme for use with the general attendee pool, the press and an exclusive event group. We also localized the general invitation for a French audience. The invitations each presented an animated invitation greeting, a set of key messages, and the basic event information. They concluded with a choice to immediately jump to the registration site or print out registration materials. The Flash invitations provided a low-cost alternative which could reach a global audience quickly and in a regionally-customized fashion.
